Leading a healthy diet doesn’t always mean eating dry, bland and tasteless food and with the rise in gluten free and vegan friendly foods, I thought why not give you a cool chocolate smoothie recipe to get your taste buds happy and your body feeling fit.
There are many reasons for following a diet free of animal products or derivatives (vegan diet) and a diet free of gluten (the protein found in wheat) as a combination of the two diets can work wonders on the body and increases vitality.
Even if you aren’t following a gluten free or vegan diet, do give this recipe a try!
Super Tasty Chocolate Vegan Smoothie
PS: You can drink it as is or leave it in the refrigerator to chill for a while. Alternatively, add ice cubes before blending to get a cool, crushed like smoothie!
You can choose to add a non-animal milk alternative, instead of adding the milk powder and water.

Ingredients
- For a chocolatey vegan smoothie, get the following and blend all together.
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 tablespoons of rice milk powder (or any other non-animal milk powder)
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
- Filtered water
- Combine all ingredients into a blender jar, cut or break the bananas for easier blending time.
- Add water depending on your desired thickness.
- Blend and enjoy!
