Meditation – The Power of Purity
Firstly, Happy Maha Shivarathri! On this auspicious great night of Shiva, I wish you and your loved one’s abundant love, prosperity and inner peace.
As people who know and love Shiva, also know that one of the key aspects He teaches is meditation. Something I love and something that my Guru, Mohanji (known as Brahmarishi Mohanji) has openly and freely given to the world.
He has so far given five different types of guided meditation to the world, that is The Power of Purity, 360 Degree, Blossoms of Love, Bliss of Silence and Freedom Meditation.
Since today is Maha Shivarathri and we are on the topic of meditation, I would like to write about the deep spiritual cleansing benefit of The Power of Purity meditation.
A 40-minute guided meditation, seems like you just have to close your eyes, sit still and focus on Mohanji’s voice throughout the meditation. One might wonder how can a simple meditation help you in any way? Or make any positive change whatsoever in your life? Well I am not anywhere nearly qualified to speak on meditation, techniques or guidance, but what I can tell you is of my own experience with the meditation…
After practicing this mediation for almost 4 years, I can tell you that the levels of inner cleansing and purification go far deeper than what we know.
The basis of this meditation is gratitude, forgiveness and blessings. And when one combines these three aspects into daily life, heaviness, pain and sorrow seamlessly disappear due to the fact that when we forgive, we let go, when we are in gratitude, we become like light and when we bless all (those who we like and also those who we do not like), we start to feel complete and one with the universe. Creating a deeper understanding of how events and people come and go and to just let go of anything and everything that ever hurt us.
I must admit, when I first started practising this meditation, it felt great, for the most part. During the blessing period (in the meditation), thoughts of people whom I liked and really did not like (as well as painful reasons why I did not like them) came up. And then one day, I realised I am blessing these people but there is no pain, anger, sadness or anything negative. I truly bless them with abundant love and I mean it. THAT is part of the power of this meditation. The Power of Purity which allows us the opportunity to let go, to live a life of purity, gratitude and love.
On this blessed day of Maha Shivarathri, I am attaching a link to the meditation here, should you wish to download and try The Power of Purity meditation on your own.
There are also various Mohanji Meditation centres all around the world. Feel free to click here to search for a centre closest to you.

Until next time.
Love always
