Helping each other, and meaning it.
It is all well and good to state that “you want to help others” but words soon become meaningless if there is no action behind it. Many people in this world state that they want to help, or do something to help others. But when the time comes or people approach them to help, then don’t do much to help. This is because their need or want to actually help is not as important as their need to be seen as a helpful person. And unfortunately this happens in many sectors from business people with high flying titles, to even people of holy status who claim to do Gods work. Ofcourse we can’t label everyone the same, but the point remains that there is many false people out there who don’t really care to help.
Fortunately you don’t need to be a high flyer with big titles to your name or someone with tons of cash to beable to help others.
How can you do your bit to help?
Firstly help others by helping yourself. Care about your time, energy and stability. So when you do reach out to help others, you don’t drain yourself, wasting time and energy. Because then you won’t be able to help others nor will you have energy for yourself.
Secondly, make maximum use of your time. And don’t delay in helping others. If you can assist in anyway possible with dignity and integrity, then do so.
You can assist by sharing positive posts/picture quotes/videos etc to make people feel good and inspired. Please do share our blog posts and inspiring picture quotes from our Facebook Page!
You can assist by hosting meditation (guided meditation where you just play a meditation soundtrack) that brings about peace of mind.
You can assist by starting your own service to humanity by starting a blog, Facebook Page and group (like I have done) and write to inspire people. We really don’t know what others are going through and how little posts of love and inspiration can help. You might even unknowingly save someone from suicide because of daily inspiration or “being there”.
You can start a whatsapp group where people can speak out about their feelings and all in the group can motivate and help each other (ofcouse this won’t be anonymous but worth a try).
You can serve humanity by spreading awareness on earth friendly tips and ideas, reducing plastic and waste etc.
You can even make an additional sandwich every morning and giving it to a hungry person you might come across.
All of these things mentioned above cost almost no money at all. Yet these are ways that you can assist humanity each day at a time and in a way that is best suited for you.
So go out there and help make a positive difference! You never know what that could mean to someone else!
Have you started a drive of your own? Let us know in the comments below as we are excited to know about it.
Until next time
Lots of love
