Fresh feet, great for revitalizing the body!
With the daily rush of work, home and family how much of time do we dedicate to taking care of our feet? Hmm and if we think about having to take care of our skin, diet and hair, the idea of having to take special dedication to anything else seems like just a chore.
But what if I told you that dedicating just 5 minutes or less atleast three days a week to foot care can help you not only sleep better, but also revitalise your body making you feel more energetic!!!
And the best part is that you don’t really need any expensive foot care products or anything.
I personally love the feeling of fresh, clean feet before getting into bed at night. And while taking care to soap up, scrub and wash my feet before bed (even after showering), I felt I wanted to go a step further and remove any dead skin on the soles of the feet.
I searched for foot care products only to find that they can be expensive and possibly a waste of money. So, one day while shopping I came across this awesome foot care file for around R10, (less than a dollar)! And I thought to give it a try.
This simple foot file or whatever it is called, is super for taking care of the feet! It has four different functions, one is a foot file, foot brush, foot stone and some metal strip used for removing dead skin.
I tried it. And it worked!
I first used the metal thingy which helped to remove any dead skin and smoothen out the soles of my feet. I then lathered my feet with soap and used the brush in circular movements to brush off or clean off any dead skin that I had scraped off. I then used the stone to further smoothen my feet and then finally the file. This certainly made my feet not only feel clean but tingly and revitalised. I used the brush once more which felt like a quick and easy foot massage before bed, before rinsing, drying and then getting into bed.
I slept really well that night, and instead of my feet feeling tired and drain the next morning, I could actually feel my skin cells on the soles of my feet like they were really to take on the day.
Seriously.
The entire process took less than five minutes and regular foot care makes me feel more productive and energetic!
