Five simple rules for daily productivity
I am sure that we all want to be productive. But what stops us from doing what we need to do, to be productive? Why do we feel lazy or have the idea to ‘do it later’ and then just forget about it? What if we knew the exact date and time that we were to die? I’m sure we wouldn’t take time so lightly anymore. Here are five simple rules to cut down on time wastage and for productivity in your life:
One
Make a pact with yourself to love yourself enough to try. If you follow my Love in Abundance Facebook Page I am sure you would have come across this quote. But what does it mean? Well the main reason we waste time or procrastinate is because we don’t value our time, ability or purpose. That is because we don’t love ourselves enough to atleast try.
Two
When step one is achieved and we actually love ourselves enough to care, then we need to make a plan to accomplish what we want.
Three
When we have a plan in place and an idea of what needs to be done, then it is time to put that plan in to place. Sometimes that can be difficult as fears of ‘what people may think or say’ might come up. This is when you should love yourself even more, in order to block of any negative thoughts or fears on your goals.
Four
Time management is essential in productivity. Plan small goals that are achievable each day and by the end of each week, you will have 7 little goals achieved towards your main goal.
Five
Continue continue continue! When steps one to four are done, and you feel a sense of happiness in all your achievements, continue doing them. Make a plan to achieve more small goals, manage your time and get it done.
What are some of your goals that you find difficult to achieve? Or what methods of time management and productivity have you used to achieve a big goal?
