Does chocolate make you gain weight?
Of course foods that are unhealthy, oily and filled with sugar are not going to do your body any good. So to a point yes chocolates (with their high sugar content) will make you gain weight, or fat for that matter.
But you know what is worse than chocolates?
Depression
Low self esteem
Fear of gaining weight (which will just make you gain more weight)
Lack of self confidence
And the lack of looking after yourself to the best that you can…
All these things cause severe depression and zero care or time for self-grooming, exercise and taking care of your well-being. The results? Weight gain!
So no, chocolates doesn’t make you fat. A happy person who love themselves (we not talking about being conceited) will enjoy a chocolate slab once in a while without gaining weight. That is because they body (the cells that make up the body) knows that this is a happy, fit person who takes priority in taking care of their body. So their body in turn, works towards melting away that fat or unnecessary toxins.
On the other hand, a person whose body is aware that they don’t care about it, will store that fat. And voila, weight gain becomes more and more.
So the key here is to actually love yourself and shut out the harsh words that others have to say.
Instead of being sad that your belly is fat, be thankful for your body. Instead of worrying about flab on your arms, be thankful that you have arms… and like that, choose to be thankful for your body. And start taking more care for it.
